The Sydney Lee flower pot is moody, dimensional, and even better in person. Hand-thrown with a subtly sculpted silhouette, Sydney Lee features horizontal ridges around the upper form that give the glaze plenty of texture to move across. She's finished in AMACO Event Horizon, a highly reactive glaze with layers of metallic bronze, deep black, burgundy, smoky blue, and flashes of copper that shift dramatically depending on the light and viewing angle. Event Horizon is notoriously difficult to capture in a photograph. Its reflective, almost iridescent surface can look completely different as you move around the piece, revealing colors, depth, and metallic details that simply don't translate fully on camera. Consider the photos a preview - Sydney Lee has a lot more going on in person.
